Free contact form for a website
So I was trying to find a website out there that will simply allow me to download a script / code for free to add a simple contact form onto a websites contact page but found they were all to difficult to understand and complicated.
So Onpoint Creations have given some help to other developers out there to easily add this code to a contact page of a website and allow users to complete a contact form that is sent to the client.
This Free contact form for websites is basic and simple.
It is simple to add.
Just follow the below instructions:
STEP 1: Download the contact form here
Step 2: Open the Free Contact Form ZIP folder and add the content files to your root folder of your website. There should be 2 files
- contact-us.html
- send_form_email.php
STEP 3: Open the contact-us.html file and copy the code from <form> until </form> and paste this on your contact page.
STEP 4: Open the file “send_form_email.php”
Here you will need to add the email address & Email Subject which the form is to go to:
eg.
yourname@company.com.au
Contact Form from WEBSITE
STEP 5: Below the PHP code, you will need to add code in HTML that is your Thank you Message. This can be code that is written to design your website. (you may need some minor changes)
STEP 6: Save both and upload all to your server through FTP.
STEP 7: Your Done
